Facilities and accommodation

The outside of Barclay House - a bright, modern brick building surrounded by shrubbery of all shapes, colours and sizes

Barclay House is an accessible purpose-built residential home for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, who may also have a visual impairment. It features seven bedrooms, a communal lounge, kitchen, and access to a beautiful garden.

Situated in a quiet residential area, Barclay House is within walking distance of the sea, the Seven Sisters cliffs, and the beautiful South Downs. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, but also just a short journey from the major cultural hub of Brighton.

It's a thriving community that encourages ambition and independence in a supportive and welcoming environment.

SeeAbility is unique in providing in-house specialist support, including vision rehabilitation and, where commissioned, positive behaviour support (PBS).

Our focus is on encouraging people to challenge themselves to achieve their own goals and get the most out of life, while supporting increased independence and choice. Our support teams are also trained in Active Support, which encourages people we're supporting to take control of their lives.
