Glaucoma
Glaucoma is caused by fluid building up in the eye, causing pressure which can damage your eye.
You are more likely to contact glaucoma if:
- Someone in your family has glaucoma
- You are over 60 years old
- You are of African or Caribbean descent
- You are from Southeast Asia
- You have diabetes
- You are very short sighted
If you are over 40 and at risk of glaucoma, you can get free eye tests.
