Terms and conditions

Promoter

This prize draw is organised by SeeAbility ("the Promoter").

Eligibility

Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees of SeeAbility and their immediate family members may enter unless directly involved in the administration of the prize draw.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

How to enter

To enter, participants must submit their full name and email address via the designated competition entry form on our website, or via the competition entry form you completed on our Facebook, Threads or Instagram page.

No purchase or donation is necessary to enter.

Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw.

Competition period

The prize draw opens on Wednesday 30th September 2026.

The prize draw closes at 23:59 on Friday 9th October 2026.

Entries received outside of this period will not be eligible.

The prize

One winner will receive free registration for the SeeAbility Trek Sahara Challenge, with a value of £299.

The prize covers the registration fee only.

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.

Additional participant costs

By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that they will still be required to meet all remaining challenge costs and participation requirements, including either:

Self-funding the remaining challenge cost of £1,300, or

Selecting the minimum sponsorship option and raising at least £2,600 in sponsorship in accordance with the Trek Sahara Challenge fundraising requirements.

Failure to meet the relevant payment or fundraising requirements may result in the winner being unable to participate in the challenge.

Winner selection and notification

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.

The draw will take place within 48 hours of the closing date.

The winner will be contacted using the email address provided at the time of entry.

If the winner does not respond within 5 days of being contacted, SeeAbility reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Acceptance of the prize

The winner must satisfy all eligibility, registration, health, travel and participation requirements applicable to the Trek Sahara '27 challenge.

Acceptance of the prize does not guarantee participation if these requirements are not met.

Data Protection

Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed by SeeAbility for the administration of the prize draw and in accordance with SeeAbility's Privacy policy.

By entering the competition, participants agree that their details may be used for the purposes of administering the prize draw.

Participants may opt in separately to receive marketing communications from SeeAbility. Entry into the prize draw will not be conditional upon consenting to marketing communications.

Publicity

The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the prize draw and the Trek Sahara '27 challenge.

Any publicity will be subject to the winner's consent.

Cancellation and changes

SeeAbility reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the prize draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Any changes will be communicated via the channels used to promote the competition.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SeeAbility shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the prize draw or use of the prize.

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

General

By entering this prize draw, participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

The promoter's decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
