Mark is a chartered accountant but has spent the majority of his career in commercial Finance Director and Director of Resources roles. Within these he has been responsible for the functions of Finance and Treasury, Information Technology, Business Assurance and Human Resources.

Since 2008, he has worked for charitable specialised housing associations that provide care and support to people with learning disabilities and autism.
