Sahara Desert Trek 2027 easy read guide
This guide tells you about SeeAbility's Sahara Desert Trek.
It will help you decide if you would like to take part.
Join us on an adventure in the Sahara Desert in Morocco.
You will walk across the desert with other people.
The trek will last for 5 days.
The whole trip will last 8 days.
The dates of the trip are the 6th March to the 13th March 2027.
You will need to pay or raise money for the trip.
You will:
- Do lots of walking every day
- Walk across sand and rocky ground
- Camp in the desert
- Meet new people
- Travel with a group
- Learn about Morocco from local guides
The walk will be hard.
The weather will be hot.
You will have guides and a support team with you.
You will not be doing it alone.
We will work with you to help you take part safely.

SeeAbility supports people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss.
If you join Team SeeAbility, you will get:
- A SeeAbility T-shirt
- Ideas to help you raise money
- Support before and during the trip
There are different ways to pay for the trip.
You will need to pay £299 when you book.
You will need to raise money or pay for the rest of the trip yourself.
If someone is supporting you on the trek, they will need to pay £299 as well.
