Kent Positive Behaviour Support
- Behaviours that challenge
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health
Our supported living services in Kent offers either shared or self-contained accommodation for young adults with a range of disabilities. We are specialists in supporting people who are autistic. Our focus is on supporting people to live independently in their own home through Positive Behaviour Support.
Access to our specialist support team is available as an integral component of the support service. We offer direct support for individuals in order to develop life skills to the full.
The support service includes Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners who offer: functional and environmental assessments; positive behaviour support planning, goal-setting and review; and analysis of behavioural challenges with guidance to minimise and manage these. We have speech and language therapists who can support people with communication difficulties and the team can also provide assistive technology and accessible information.
We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do.
Our support enables people to make choices and express their individuality. Personalisation is not a tick box exercise for us, but is fundamental to how we deliver our mission every single day of the year.
Supported living services are designed to meet daily living, social and personal care needs. These are arranged through a combination of one-to-one and shared support hours.
Our facilities and accommodation
We provide support in individual self-contained properties for people who are on the autism spectrum and who require specialist PBS support. People live in their own houses with their own tenancies either through registered social landlords or private rentals.
