Our services

We have two residential services in Tadley surrounded by beautiful gardens and woods.

Fir Tree LodgeThe people living at Fir Tree Lodge have complex learning disabilities, autism and are visually impaired or registered blind. They need people who can take them out, but also support them with their daily tasks and personal care.

Heather HouseHeather House is a specialist nursing care home for people with sight loss and complex conditions. We provide a world-renowned, unique service for young people with Juvenile Batten Disease.

There’s also our well-equipped Penney Centre where the people we support benefit from music, cooking, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions.

It's easy to get to Tadley from Basingstoke. The 2 and 14 buses stop at Mulfords Hill Post Office and Burnham Road, both five-minute walks from our two services.


A new career?

Experienced or not, we’ll help you learn and develop. Your role will involve:

  • helping a person to stay well
  • finding out how they like to communicate
  • helping them with their personal care
  • working shifts including weekends


Robert's story

Robert is a young man from Bury who was diagnosed with juvenile Batten Disease at the age of 25. The team get him his favourite foods, including a 'chippy tea' as he's a northern lad, plus ice cream! He loves it when the ice cream van visits each week. Robert has been living at Heather House for five years.

Assessment dates

We have two assessment dates coming up. The first is on Tuesday 29th August, and the second is on Wednesday 6th September.
