Excellent training programme

Comprehensive programmes of learning for new and existing staff including a six month induction programme and mentoring. We also welcome applications from people looking for a new career to whom we can offer training.

QCF and other professional training will be considered for staff who wish to advance their knowledge and skills, after a qualifying period of service.

We recognise and reward outstanding contributions and commitment to the role through our annual Excellence Awards and Long Service Awards.

 

Hours of work

37.5 hours per week (unless stated otherwise). Flexible working opportunities that meet the organisations needs will be discussed.

 

Holiday entitlement

28 days per annum (including Bank Holidays). Pro rata for part time staff. Holiday entitlement including Bank Holidays will be increased by one day each year for staff serving over eight years, to a maximum of 36 days.

 

Annual salary

Salaries will usually be reviewed on July 1st each year, but increases are not guaranteed.

 

Pension

Staff assessed as eligible job holders will be automatically enrolled in to the SeeAbility Pension Scheme during their third month of employment. All staff have the right to opt in after three months’ employment. For staff wishing to contribute more than the statutory minimum, SeeAbility will match fund contributions of 3%, rising to 5% on successful completion of five years service.

There is an option for salary sacrifice to provide tax and NI savings on pension contributions.

 

Life assurance

Life assurance for all staff with life cover at two times salary.

 

Sick pay scheme

Non-contractual scheme for all permanent staff, up to 12 weeks full pay depending on length of service.

 

Eye care vouchers

Vouchers provided for regular eye tests.

Our Employee Assistance Programme provides a confidential support service for staff and their immediate family.
