SeeAbility has a successful record of working with eye care professionals to enable people with learning disabilities access to equitable and quality eye health care services.

SeeAbility’s Eye Care and Vision team are able to provide a range of bespoke training and consultancy services for eye care professionals, including:

  • Providing training for community and hospital-based eye care practitioners
  • Providing keynote speakers, workshops and exhibition stands for eye care events
  • Advising on the current accessibility of local eye care services for people with learning disabilities
  • Providing solutions to increase accessibility of eye care services

SeeAbility works with the professional eye care bodies, LOCSU, Local Optical Committees, Local Eye Health Networks and Clinical Commissioning Groups to increase access to eye care and vision services.
