Gordon became a Trustee in February 2010 and was elected Chairman of Trustees in 2018. As well as Chairing the Board, he sits on both the Finance and Audit Committee and on our Services and Quality Committee.
He is an optometrist who has spent his career working in private practice as well as the Hospital Eye Service and during this career developed a special interest in delivery of eye care services to people with learning disability. He now works as an advisor to NHS England, is a Board member of The Association of Optometrists and sits on the Advisory Committee to the General Optical Council.
