What is your role?
I'm the Senior Public Fundraising Manager.
What is your work history?
My charity career started with Help for Heroes, when I joined them on a fundraising trek to Everest Base Camp. Since then, I’ve worked for a variety of charities in roles that are all about allowing people to connect with a cause that really means something to them.
What inspires you?
I love knowing I’m part of a team making a long term difference to whichever cause I’m tasked with fundraising for. I’m also inspired by amazing charity supporters who are so generous – my job is to ensure they realise how important they are.
What's your favourite thing to do outside work?
I have a young family and a slightly crazy border terrier so my time outside work is spent entertaining them and going for long walks and picnics.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Don’t be afraid to give it a go – just try!
What’s one thing about you that people would be surprised to learn?
In a previous career, I used to be a stage manager in London’s West End, helping to run large-scale musicals.
