Chairman's Challenge

As SeeAbility's incoming Chairman I was looking for a way to extend my relationship with our services and the people we support. Cycling 700 miles across southern England visiting our services and raising funds for SeeAbility seemed the perfect way to do this!

Our support

Through our accommodation and support services, we provide highly specialist support for people with learning disabilities and autism, many of whom have sight loss. SeeAbility helps families and people with the transition from home or college. SeeAbility also champions eye care for people with learning disabilities.

Our history

SeeAbility is a 200-year-old charity with a vast history. It was established in 1799 by four philanthropists in London. Past patrons include Princess Diana and currently The Duchess of Gloucester.

Children in Focus

We are able to carry out sight tests in special schools thanks to money generously donated by you. The more sight tests we are able to give, the closer we are to an equal right to sight. Read more
