We are encouraging people to get their glasses on and raise awareness of the importance of eye care during SeeAbility Week 2017 (9-15 October) and World Sight Day (12 October).

Our #GetYourGlassesOn campaign aims to raise awareness and celebrate the importance of eye care, especially for people with learning disabilities and autism.

What will you wear?

SeeAbility would love people to swap their contact lenses for their glasses, pop on their favourite sunglasses at work, or even make and decorate a pair of wacky glasses.

Snap it

The next step is to take a selfie in your chosen eyewear and post it on social media, tagging @SeeAbility and using #GetYourGlassesOn to show support and raise awareness.

Raise money

Then, we're asking for anyone taking part to donate £2 and nominate two people to take part too. You can donate by texting EYES21 £2 to 70070 or on our website. You can also boost your fundraising by organising a bake sale or a coffee morning!

A little bit of competition

There will be prizes for the best photos uploaded to social media, so good luck, we're looking forward to seeing your selfies!
