Position: Support Worker
Location: Fir Tree Lodge, Tadley, Hampshire
Salary: £16,575 - £17,550 per annum or pro rata (depending on relevant qualifications skills and experience)
Hours: Various hours available

Fir Tree Lodge is a residential home for adults with a range of disabilities and complex needs. We specialise in supporting and assisting people with sight loss. All those supported at Fir Tree Lodge can benefit from weekly physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions at the newly-refurbished Penney Activity and Resource Centre. This is our onsite specialist day service providing opportunities including music therapy, arts and crafts, cookery, interactive technology and horticulture. This resource is accessible seven days a week. 

People are able to enjoy the therapeutic qualities of music and water with access to a well-equipped music sensory rooms and a specialist hydro bath. The different sessions focus on supporting people to develop their participation in activities of daily living.

You should be: 

  • A good communicator
  • Willing to provide personal support in a residential care home to people with complex needs
  • IT literate or willing to learn
  • Able to work well in a team 
  • Committed to promoting individual choice, autonomy and a person-centered lifestyle
  • No experience is required, although is advantageous
