Role: Deputy Manager 
Location: Woodlands Residential Home, Horley
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £21,324-22,071 per annum, depending on skills and experience
Required: Satisfactory enhanced DBS check is required for this position.

We are looking for an experienced deputy manager to join and assist with the ongoing management of a Residential Living service in Horley.

At SeeAbility we provide extraordinary services that transform the lives of people living with disabilities. We support c250 people and their families with disabilities including autism, visual impairment, and learning and physical disabilities across southern England.

You will be responsible for the assessment of peoples’ skills and the planning and supervision of care and support plans to enable the enhancement of skills and to improve the quality of life enjoyed by the people we support.

To be successful in this role you’ll have proven experience at senior support level preferably with supervisory experience. You’ll be a strong motivator and will seek new ways of working by thinking outside of the box and being creative with solutions. You’ll take personal responsibility for the quality of care and support delivered to the people we support, both by yourself and your team.

Experience of working with people who have a visual impairment and physical/learning difficulties is desirable but a minimum of Level 3 in Health & Social care with an ambition to work up to Level 5 is essential. In addition, you’ll be willing to travel independently as required and be able to work flexibly to respond to the needs of the service and partake in on call to provide emergency support include evenings and weekends. Full drivers licence would be desirable.
