In memory donations are a positive way to support people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss, to achieve exciting new things every day.

The loss of a loved one can be a sad and difficult time. At SeeAbility, we understand that for some people it can be comforting to make a charitable donation in their memory.

Donations given in memory are a wonderful way to celebrate the life of someone special, whilst helping SeeAbility build a world where people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss achieve things they never thought possible.

In honouring your loved one, you can help us shine a light on people’s abilities, enabling them to live independently and be more actively involved in society.

.

Your donation helps us to:

  • Delivery ambitious and specialist services every day
  • Champion better eye care for people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Make inclusion a reality for more children and adults

You could help someone like Susie

Thanks to kind supporters, Susie can see more clearly and now enjoys her new hobby – painting!

Susie developed cataracts and was told an operation would be too difficult. After years of being denied treatment, our charitably funded vision rehabilitation and specialist support teams took action - Susie had the operation!

What an incredible difference; she can now see and communicate more easily. Support from people like you changed everything for Susie.

In memory donations help people overcome barriers, achieve their goals and claim independence to live, love, thrive and belong in their communities.

In memory donations

For a collection at a funeral or life celebration you may find giving in memory leaflets useful, with a tear-off form to make donations by cash, cheque or card, and make a Gift Aid declaration. Often funeral directors will help by collating donations on your behalf and afterwards send them directly to us. If you would like some giving in memory leaflets, please get in touch with us by phone at 01372 755042 or email [email protected].

In memory donations, including collections, can be made online via our donation page by clicking here, or posting cheques (made payable to ‘SeeAbility’) to SeeAbility, Newplan House, 41 East Street, Epsom KT17 1BL.
