We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do.
Our support enables people to make choices and express their individuality. Personalisation is not a tick box exercise for us, but is fundamental to how we deliver our mission every single day of the year.
Our specialist support team work closely with the people we support, providing:
- Rehabilitation to people with sight loss to help them maintain and develop skills, and be more independent.
- Speech and language therapists who support people with communication difficulties and the team also provides assistive technology and accessible information.
- PBS consultants who provide specialist support and create proactive strategies for people and our support teams to support someone with mental health needs or behaviours that can be challenging.
We strive to support people to become more independent through the use of Active Support, PBS and Assistive Technology. For example, above Mark who lives at Meadowmead, welcomes a visitor using his intercom service.
Our support is designed to meet people's daily living, social and personal care needs. People receive a combination of one-to-one and shared support hours, meaning we provide tailored 24 hour support - including waking nights. Shorthold tenancies are available enabling people to live independently in their own rented flats which are situated close to the town centre and train station of Eastleigh.
Our facilities and accommodation

Meadowmead Outreach Service
We also provides high quality and flexible solutions for people living in their own homes in Hampshire. Our support is individually tailored and person-centred, and follows a thorough assessment of need and understanding each individual's aspirations.
Our experience shows that people can achieve their own personal goals given the right specialist support from appropriately trained staff who understand their individual specific needs.
We have a demonstrable track record of building successful partnerships with individuals, families, advocates, other providers, community resources and sponsoring authorities.

"People told us they were involved in their care plan and given choice and listened to. One person told us how they had chosen what they wanted to do and brought an agenda to a meeting and felt listened to."
