Mount Toubkal Trek

-
Morocco
A group of people on the Mount Toubkal trek, deep in brown dry mountains with a small house on a cliff edge

Trekking for three days we will experience stunning scenery, breathtaking views across North Africa and the warmth and friendliness of locals during our short charity challenge.

This challenge event is perfect for those who want to achieve something spectacular whilst only taking five days away from home, or for those who are new to charity challenge events and fundraising.

Our trek to the summit of Mount Toubkal will be tough and will certainly challenge us – the terrain is demanding and will involve scrambling over boulders and negotiating scree – but don’t worry; with our exceptional support and expert mountain guides no previous trek experience is necessary. Together we will reach the summit! Reaching the top of North Africa and looking across the valleys and mountains will be a feeling never to be forgotten. We then end our charity challenge with a special celebratory dinner in Marrakech – a city full of charm, exotic delights and fantastic bargains!

Life has changed very little for the Berber people of this region and we’ll be lucky enough to witness their culture and lifestyle as we discover the real Morocco.

Challenge yourself just for one weekend join our amazing team and trek to the peak of North Africa.

Take part for SeeAbility

Our challenge event participants take on these amazing adventures each year to support SeeAbility and the work that we do.

There are two options to choose from when signing up for your trekking or cycling challenge.

  • Minimum Sponsorship – This option means that the cost of challenge is included in your fundraising target. You will be set a minimum target and anything raised above this will be more funds for the charity. You simply pay your registration fee and fundraise the rest!
  • Self-Funding – This option means that you will pay the registration, then you will cover the remaining cost of the challenge 12 weeks prior to departure. You will not have a minimum fundraising target, but we encourage you to make as much as possible.

Whichever option is right for you, please remember you will still receive the very best support from our SeeAbility fundraising team.

As part of Team SeeAbility, you will get:

  • A charity branded t-shirt
  • Dedicated support from SeeAbility’s Public Fundraising Team
  • Regular team emails with updates
  • A fundraising pack with information, ideas, motivation and downloadable materials to support you
  • The sense of achievement knowing that you are supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss to live, love, thrive and belong.
