Our support Support and accommodation services Residential homes Denecroft Ben Clarke (Registered Manager)01483 301 315[email protected][email protected] Our service Denecroft is a residential home for six adults with a range of disabilities. We specialise in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, many of whom have sight loss. We want to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to enable people to make choices and express their individuality. Personalisation is not a tick box exercise for us, but is fundamental to how we deliver our mission every single day of the year. Our specialist support team work closely with the people we support, providing rehabilitation to people with sight loss to help them maintain and develop skills, and be more independent. We have speech and language therapists who support people with communication difficulties and the team also provides assistive technology and accessible information. “People had access to a wide range of activities, holidays and trips into town. One relative said, “They arranged for Paul* to go out kayaking because he wanted to do that. He also really enjoys horse riding and they enable him to do that.” A second relative said, “This year Stacy* is having two holidays to Spain. She loves the sun and the water and they have made sure they can meet those needs.”” – CQC report (*names changed) .
