Creativity can mean lots of different things. For some people it might be playing an instrument, painting a picture, or putting ingredients together to create a new recipe. It can also be about thinking of new ideas and solving problems.

Creativity makes life more exciting and interesting - it’s about being curious, discovering new things and growing. When we feel creative, and open to new things, we're less likely to feel worried or afraid by change and uncertainty.

Top tip

We can sometimes stop ourselves from thinking creatively if we put too much pressure on ourselves to have a ‘good’ idea. Often the best ideas come to us when we least expect them!

Top tip

Take 5 minutes each day to draw a picture. You'll become better at drawing, while reducing the pressure on yourself as it's only a short sketch.
