We want to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to enable people to make choices and express their individuality. Personalisation is not a tick box exercise for us, but is fundamental to how we deliver our mission every single day of the year. Access to our specialist support team is available as an integral component of the support service. We offer direct support for individuals in order to develop life skills to the full. The support service includes Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners who offer: functional and environmental assessments; positive behaviour support planning, goal-setting and review; and analysis of behavioural challenges with guidance to minimise and manage these. Visual Impairment Rehabilitation which offers: functional vision assessments; training in mobility and orientation, communication and independent living skills; guidance about assistive technology and advice and awareness training to staff and other professionals.
