Paula has had two spells at SeeAbility, rejoining in 2005 to lead our Eye to Eye campaign. She is now our Director of External Affairs. Having moved from Australia in 1990, Paula initially started at The Royal School for the Blind as a support worker, before we changed our operating name to SeeAbility! She then oversaw residents moving from long-stay environments to the community, and ran staff learning and development until 1997.

As SeeAbility's Director of External Affairs, Paula is responsible for all of our public health work with adults and children, our work with policy makers, our marketing and communications department, our specialist support team of speech and language therapists and rehabilitation workers, and our fantastic team of volunteers. Paula's proudest achievement at SeeAbility is the Children in Focus campaign, which has delivered over 1,000 specialist sight tests in nine special schools, and continues to lobby for national change.

When Paula is not at work, she enjoys spending time in her garden with her family and entertaining friends. She is always keen to visit new countries when she finds the time!
