This bright and airy building provides eight young adults with a range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy, learning difficulties and a visual impairment, the opportunity to live independently in their own rented accommodation. They will access specialised support customised to their specific individual needs. Each flat is treated like an individual home and a person centred planned developed for each individual.
These plans are designed following a full assessment to meet the wellbeing of each person, and is provided by experienced and highly trained staff that can respond knowledgably and appropriately to each person.
The staff team ensure a consistent and enabling attitude to maintaining and developing daily skills. People are encouraged to expand their capabilities and benefit from opportunities to enjoy new life experiences.
The exclusively designed independent living accommodation is fully accessible at ground level and caters for all their physical needs. Trained volunteers can provide support to a wide range of activities.
