Places arising in Spring 2006 in line with the development of SeeAbility Fir Tree Lodge - a new residential home that is located in the grounds of Heather House. A purpose-built provision offering a 24 hour nursing and social care service for sixteen young adults (aged 16-35) with a visual impairment and life-limiting condition, particularly, although not exclusively, Juvenile Batten's Disease. SeeAbility offers two eight-bedded bungalows with all bedrooms having ensuite facilities. The service is registered with CSCI as a care home providing nursing care. SeeAbility supports individuals resident at SeeAbility Heather House to access day services in the home, the local community and at the adjacent SeeAbility Penney Activity & Resource Centre.
The expertise developed at SeeAbility Heather House in working with people who have Juvenile Batten's Disease is shared with families, carers and other professionals. Support Services - South Central:SeeAbility Meadowmead Support Service based in Eastleigh, Hampshire

Tenancies for eight units of accommodation are offered by Eastleigh Housing Association to people with a visual impairment and a learning disability. SeeAbility acts as Management Agent for the properties and provides tenants with individually tailored packages of support. The support service is also offered to individuals living in their own/other accommodation within Eastleigh or neighbouring localities. Services include enabling support with housing-related, personal and social care tasks. SeeAbility Meadowmead Support Service has a Supporting People Contract with Hampshire and is registered with CSCI as a Domiciliary Care Agency.
