Our service
A fun and welcoming home with our trademark emphasis on light and colour contrasts throughout to assist seven mobile adults with a range of needs including visual impairment, autism, learning disabilities and acquired brain injury.
The emphasis is on a ‘can do’ attitude to encourage daily living skills both within the home and in the local community where local retailers and the community at large are supportive.
The experienced staff team is supported by our trained Rehabilitation Practitioners who takes an active role in developing new techniques to teach new skills which are appropriate and relevant to each person.
Woodlands is a fully furnished two storey home with easy access to the town centre and rail links. There is a self contained and fully equipped activity room situation in the garden.
Trained volunteers can be arranged to supoprt people in a variety of different activities.
The accommodation
3 ground floor bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms
4 bedrooms on the first floor with en-suite bathrooms
additional separate bathroom
large communal kitchen
shared lounge and separate dining room
