Our service
A vibrant and busy home for five mobile adults with disabilities, with an emphasis on light and colour contrasts throughout to assist people with a visual impairment.
Individuals' needs are assessed and person-centred support plans created to meet these and help achieve aspirations. Support focuses on maximising people’s abilities and teaching new skills with the goal of greater independent living. Our Rehabilitation Practitioners work with specialised support staff to ensure a consistent and enabling approach to personal development and make the transition from an educational environment
This service is provided in a two storey home. There is also a self contained annex, enabling one individual to develop their independent living skills, before moving on into the community with on-going support from SeeAbility.
Contact with trained volunteers can be arranged.
The accommodation
5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor in a self contained flat
