What is a Glaucoma?

Glaucoma is the name given for a group of eye conditions in which the optic nerve is damaged. The change to vision is due to the glaucoma increasing pressure on the eyeball shape and stops it working properly.

If untreated, people may become aware of a severe restriction of their vision, or even loss of central vision in the worse case.
