A busy and dynamic environment, providing an extensive range of learning and leisure activities for visually impaired adults with additional disabilities, of all ages and abilities who want to maintain and develop their personal and social skills.
We support each person to identify their own abilities, needs and preferences. A tailored a support plan is then created reflecting these choices. We regularly review these to ensure our service is responsive to any changing needs and wishes.
Our specialist service is provided by a trained staff team. Their professional expertise in visual impairment combined with other disabilities is drawn from diverse backgrounds. We work with trained volunteers to enhance our service and bring a wealth of experience.
All activities are managed in small groups or an individual basis to enable maximum interaction and benefit.
