A colourful environment which provides an ideal location for an extensive range of learning and leisure activities for visually impaired adults with additional disabilities. It is ideal for young adults making the transition from an educational environment and who want to develop their personal and social skills.
We support each individual to identify their own abilities, needs and preferences. A tailored a support plan is then created reflecting each person’s choices. We regularly review these to ensure our service is responsive to any changing needs and wishes.
Our specialist service is provided by a trained staff team. All activities are managed in small groups or an individual basis to enable maximum interaction and benefit.
Their professional expertise in visual impairment combined with other disabilities is drawn from diverse backgrounds and work with trained volunteers to bring a wealth of experience.
