SeeAbility's regional events calendar.
Every one of our events big and small are designed to make a difference to the lives of blind or partially sighted people with additional disabilities.
Here you'll find details of regional fundraising events that SeeAbility would love you to get involved in.
We're always adding new opportunities to the SeeAbility events calendar, so it's a good idea to check out this page regularly.
Organise your own event
As well as events that are organised by the SeeAbility team we also appreciate the support of local people who like to arrange events on our behalf.
Quiz night, anyone? The sister of one of our Leatherhead residents raised almost £700 by staging a quiz night at a local community hall. This provided a lovely summerhouse at our Leatherhead site for all to enjoy.
How about a night at the dogs? In the past, three of our volunteer fundraisers put their heads together with the aim of raising £15,000 to provide half the amount required for a new wheelchair-adapted minibus. They had a "Night at the Dogs", which raised almost £4,000.
We'd love to hear from you with your own fundraising ideas. The wilder and wackier the better! Whether it's a bring and buy, or a sponsored bath in blancmange, we'd love to hear about it, and who knows, you could become a media star!
If you would like to organise your own kind of event to raise funds for SeeAbility, we'll be more than happy to lend you our support.
Our events team is dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and motivating everyone who takes part in our events, just as our care team inspires our residents and service users to reach their full potential.
Web sponsorship - now there's a good idea!
If you would like to raise sponsorship via the internet for a SeeAbility challenge event, then you can use the SeeAbility's Justgiving page -
Please visit http://www.justgiving.com/Charity/seeability/ to find out more about building your own sponsorship page under the SeeAbility section of the JustGiving website.
