SeeAbility welcomes all donations. Voluntary income is extremely important in keeping SeeAbility projects running and also to help us develop new projects. We can direct your company donations to a specific area of our work, so you can see what a difference it makes.

SeeAbility's eye 2 eye Campaign

The ability of 100,000 partially sighted people with learning disabilities to access appropriate specialist eye tests depends on the financial support of companies like yours. 

  • £1,000 will allow a visit to 9 families caring for a person with a learning disability to provide advice and to connect them to appropriate vision assessments and other resources in their community.

  • £2,500 will enable us to communicate with 1,000 GPs within an eye 2 eye project area, alerting them to eye health care issues affecting people with multiple disabilities.

  • £5,000 will fund 40 visits to people with a learning disability living independently in the community helping them gain access to appropriate sight tests and low vision aids having a profound effect on their quality of life.

  • £10,000 will enable a SeeAbility eye 2 eye Community Development Officer to advocate on behalf of people with multiple disabilities to improve access to appropriate sight tests at hospital based low vision clinics.

Working with companies nationwide

SeeAbility works in partnership with companies large and small in many ways - from direct financial support to gifts in kind and payroll giving.

SeeAbility relies on the support of businesses and organisations in the localities in which our residential homes, resource centres and supported living accommodation are based.

In order to reach the many thousands more people who are blind or partially sighted with additional disabilities, SeeAbility needs to work with companies throughout the UK.
