Help SeeAbility to reach more people who need us.

Please make a donation today and help SeeAbility reach thousands more people who need access to support, advice and better quality of life.  Please give whatever you can - your donation really counts.

You can donate in a number of ways:

Online:

You can use our secure payment site to enter your credit or debit card details and donate online to SeeAbility.

Cheque:

A one-off donation is a great way to support SeeAbility. Make the cheque payable to SeeAbility and then post to us at SeeAbility, SeeAbility House, Hook Road, Epsom, Surrey KT19 8SQ. Please complete a Gift Aid form and return with your cheque so that we can increase the value of your donation by reclaiming the tax from the government.

Credit Card:

Phone us on 01372 755000 and we will take your donation over the phone. Or use this CREDIT CARD DONATION FORM - you can print off a Credit Card Donation form and send it to us freepost: SeeAbility, FREEPOST (KT4299), Epsom, KT19 8BR.

Gift Aid:
Under the Gift Aid scheme, UK charities can claim back from HMRC the basic rate tax already paid on gifts of money received from individuals who pay or have paid UK tax, turning a £10 donation into £12.28! The scheme also allows UK companies to make gifts of money to charity before any tax is deducted. Furthermore, if a donor pays the higher rate of tax, they can claim higher rate relief on the payments by entering the donations in the gift aid box on their self assessment tax return. A gift aid declaration can be made to cover individual donations, a series of donations, donations made during a specified period or to cover all future donations. They can also be backdated for up to 6 years prior to the date of the declaration provided the donation was made since 6 April 2000.

If you have made any donations to SeeAbility in the last 6 years, or intend on making a donation to SeeAbility, please click here to download a gift aid declaration form  and send it to us free: SeeAbility, FREEPOST KT4299, Epsom, KT19 8BR. Standing Order:

A regular gift - the best way to help SeeAbility. Support by banker's order saves costs and gives SeeAbility the security of a regular income.

STANDING ORDER FORM - you can print off a Standing Order form and send it to us by FREEPOST (SeeAbility, FREEPOST (KT4299), Epsom, KT19 8BR).

Payroll Giving:

This is an easy and tax-free way to give by making regular contributions directly from your pay slip. You can give donations on a weekly or monthly basis. Each time you are paid, a donation is deducted by your payroll office before tax and sent to us - thereby increasing the value of your gift to us. In addition, the government has agreed to pay a supplement of 10% on donations made through Give As You Earn for the next three years. For example if you pledged £5 a month, the cost to you will be £3.90 but SeeAbility will actually get £5.50.

If you would like to donate this way first check with your HR department on whether your company has a payroll giving scheme in operation. You can then simply nominate SeeAbility (and / or any other charity) for a donation. If your company needs to set up a scheme please contact us. For more information try the Inland Revenue website for a full explanation on payroll giving.

Legacies:

Gifts left to us by people in their Wills are a vital source of income to help SeeAbility carry on improving the lives of people who are blind or partially sighted and have additional disabilities.

Making a Will is the only way to ensure that your money and assets will be shared according to your wishes and that your loved ones and any other beneficiaries such as charities are provided for after your death.

As a charity, SeeAbility is dependent on the continuing support and generosity of people like you. If you have a Will or are thinking about making one and would like to leave SeeAbility a gift we would be delighted. If you would like a leaflet with more information on how to leave a gift in your will, please contact us.

Lottery Game:

SeeAbility has teamed up with the Great Weather Lottery to help with fundraising for our projects throughout the South. With winnings of up to £10,000 each day from Monday to Friday, the game is designed to be fun whilst providing a financial resource for the charity. It costs just £1 per line to play and this gives five chances of winning each week. For every pound 45 pence is spent on prizes, 20 pence and admin and 35 pence to SeeAbility.
If you would like to play please contact us for a brochure.

Gift of Shares:

SeeAbility welcomes gifts of stocks and shares. If you make a gift of shares you will qualify tax advantages such as income tax relief.

The income tax relief couldn't be simpler. If you give shares worth £1,000 to SeeAbility and normally pay income tax at 40%, your tax bill could be reduced by £400.

The size of the gift matters - it is not economic for SeeAbility to sell a small quantity of shares of low value. For further details about this and other ways of making a tax-efficient gift to SeeAbility, click here to download our information pack about tax-efficient giving pack.
