Delloitte make 'Community Investment' at WoodlandsDelliotte Staff at Woodlands

On September 26th we welcomed a team of ten staff from accountancy firm Delloitte, to SeeAbility's 'Woodlands' residential centre in Horley. The Delloitte team were with us as part of their company wide initiative which saw 1500 of their colleagues volunteering across the UK.

After a welcome by Richard Fairbank,  registered manager at Woodlands, the team set about the task of helping us to convert a raised flower bed into a fish pond! After removing all the earth from the bed and dismantling two water features the team took a well earned lunch break.

By the end of a long day, the brick built flower bed was lined and partly filled with water. Richard Fairbanks said, ' It has made a big differene to the garden and we are really pleased with the results from the day. It will be stocked with fish and aquatic plants once the water has settled. We all look forward to the summer months when we can be in the garden and enjoy the pond fully.'

The ten staff worked exceptionally hard and created a fabulous new sensory component to the garden. Thanks to CSV for helping broker the relationship.
