Wagstaff Appointed Chair of SeeAbilityElizabeth Wagstaff has been appointed Chair of SeeAbility trustees. Mrs Wagstaff founded Robinia which within ten years became the largest independent specialist care group of its kind in the UK. SeeAbility, formerly The Royal School for the Blind, provide a wide range of individually-tailored services to people with a visual impairment and additional disabilities. "I am delighted to be taking on the role of Chair" explains Mrs Wagstaff. "Since becoming a trustee I have been enormously impressed with SeeAbility's innovative services which promote greater independence for people with multiple disabilities. I am looking forward to overseeing the exciting next phase of the SeeAbility's development which promises to give hundreds of people with multiple disabilities the opportunity to vastly improve their quality of their life." SeeAbility's recent projects include establishing independent supported living tenancies for young disabled people in Devon and creating Look Up, a national eye health care information service for people with a learning disability and shared home-ownership schemes for people with a visual impairment and additional disabilities.
